My Favourite Bloggers: Part One-High End Blogs

I've been reading blogs for about 6 years now, so I think it's about time to share the love, and speak about my favourites. Because I've got so many blogs on my blog roll, I've divided them into categories. What fun!

I'm starting today with what I'm going to call high end bloggers, as these are the girls who either favour designer looks over the high street, or just make every OOTD post look like it comes directly from Vogue! No matter how many beauty products I buy or how expensive my camera is, I know I will never look as polished and put-together as these ladies- I swear they never have a hair out of place. These are the bloggers I most envy and who give me tons of outfit inspiration-check them out (I'm sure most of them are familiar!)

Sandra from 5 Inch and Up makes me want to buy everything from Zara. I remember the first time I heard about her was in a Boohoo magazine, and ever since I've been an avid reader of her blog. She also has the best hair!

Angelica Blick has featured numerous times on my monthly 'Looks Loved' posts- she always looks so cool and on trend! She can make the simplest of outfits look covetable and is so creative with the set up of her photos.

I am so jealous of Blair from Atlantic Pacific 's accessories collection! From oversized Chanel brooches to Valentino rockstud heels, I want it all. This lady reminds me a bit of Carrie Bradshaw, she always throws something unexpected in the mix but makes it look so polished.

I've been following Karla from Karla's Closet for years. Her style is a touch on the urban side which I love, and she rocks a crop top like no other- as would I if I had her abs!

Mandy from Oracle Fox's wardrobe is definitely one to lust after, she wears mostly designer pieces that probably cost me about 3 months wages! She also posts amazing editorials from magazines around the world as well as OOTDs.

Last but definitely not least is Victoria Torngren, another Scandinavian beauty! Just want this girl's hair, face and wardrobe. Is that so much to ask? Haha

Enjoy!

Winter Boots Wishlist

So it's that time of the year again when i'm perving all over winter boots. I originally wanted some flat ones, but is it just me or are all flat boots these days a bit boring? I feel like mos of the boots I've got my eye on have at least a small heel.

I did buy these heeled chelsea boots from River Island the other day for the bargainous price of £38, but I'm just not sure...I feel like they look like wellies from the front.

So I am currently debating whether to return these and get some alternatives. I've only got a budget of about £40 , or £60 if I get some in Topshop as I have a £20 voucher. Sadly however, no Topshop boots are currently taking my fancy.

So here is my wishlist...some of which will sadly remain a wish as they are way out of my price range. Sadface.

1.ASOS Align- these are only £40...I like the simplicity of them but feel like maybe they would also look like wellies from the front. They would prob be pretty comfy though.

2. Billie by Tibi $495. In my shoe dreams! I really love these, they're so slick and would totally smarten up any outfit.

3. Zara boots- £99.99. Again, love the simplicity but the snakeskin makes them a bit different.

4. Layer boots by Cheap Monday £110- I think these are my favourite. They remind me of Acne. I can only hope they go down in the sale. Tomorrow. At 90% off.

5. Tricia by Missguided- £39.99. I think these are the ones I will prob end up going with, they are smart-ish yet still have quite a low heel. Only problems are a) I'm not sure how good the quality will be and b) I wish the hardware was gold.

Which would you go for? Please help me!

Looks Loved: OCTOBER

I'm a bit late for favourites this month but they're still good ones!

First up is Sandra, who is making me feel cold with her bare leg and slip combo! Luckily she looks banging, loving the cute lace peeping out from the oversized Acne jumper and amazing multi strap shoes.

Love this simple Calvin Klein top and trousers as worn by Alison Williams. The sort of outfit you can only really wear if you're famous and don't have to do anything but get out of a chauffeur driven car and pose for the evening! Can you imagine wearing it day to day? It would be grey in about 5 minutes. Also digging the pop of orange. Pic from RCFA.

If you don't follow Angelica's blog, go over there immediately. So stylish it makes me hurt. Loving the red tartan on red jumper. Perfect casual winter outfit.

Last but not least, Karen who is again rocking the tartan, a really simple look this but I'm such a sucker for a white shirt, coat and straight leg trouser combo!

Which is your fave?

OOTD- Knitwear on Knitwear

Jumper Topshop
Cardigan Topshop (Ooollddd)
Shirt Uniqlo
Bag Cambridge Satchel Company
Boots River Island
Hair Bow Primark

I found this bow the other day, I've had it for about 2 years but never actually worn it in my hair as it was intended. I think it looks mega cute though! I love the colour palette of this outfit, I think the neutral shades all complement each other nicely. My friend Phil thinks that nothing goes with leopard print, I think he could not be more wrong (said in the style of Russ from Friends) and that it goes with everything. It is basically a neutral, and that is why it is timeless. I was a little bit unsure about pairing a cardigan over a jumper, but I actually think it looks cool, plus I was super cosy! I do need a new winter coat though- is it just me or are they really expensive these days?

This week I have been mostly watching films and The Face (which is amaze!). I also finished my internship on Friday which was sad, but I'm so glad I did it, it was a brilliant experience.

Tonight we have some friends coming round for a lovely pasta bake. Hooray for carbs!

Chanel Lego Phone Case

When I finally gave in to Apple and got an iPhone this year, I was excited that I could at last get a pretty phone case. First of all I bought this one from Etsy which I loved in the picture, but was a bit disappointed with as it looked more cream that white in real life. Now I have one covered in silver gems, however they are all slowly turning black and getting scratched. Sad face.

One of my friends in work came in this week with a new case for her phone, she was excited to show me cos she knew I would heart it as much as her...it was only a 'Chanel' Lego phone case! (I think I must go on about Chanel way too much in work, another friend from work bought me a drippy Chanel dress and some beaut Chanel earrings for my birthday...obviously not real)

She said she got it from Etsy (of course!) so obviously I had to go straight over and have a nosy...

Look how beautiful!

This is the colour my friend had, but they come in an array of shades, I just can't decide which is my favourite. I do know however that this will be the first thing that I will be buying when I get my next pay cheque!

Are you a fan?
